When you’re finished brewing your Offblak tea, what do you do with your tea bag? Maybe you throw them in the recycling? While this is the usual action to take with used tea bags, did you know that you can create art with your used tea bags? Let’s take a look at how we can create some tea art!
- The first step is the most important (and the yummiest!). Turn the kettle on, and make yourself a cup of Offblak black tea of your choice. Once it’s finished brewing, remove your tea bag, give it a little squeeze (gently) and drop it onto your card or paper until you have a collection of blobs. Do what you want! You can either drop the tea bag randomly and find the shapes later, or stamp the tea filter strategically to create a picture.
- Time to get creative! Once your paper is dry, if you dropped your tea bag randomly, look for hidden pictures and shapes within your tea stains that you can make into pictures.
