What can one cup of tea do for you?

In light of mental health awareness week, we want to let you know the little things that can help relax you and boost your mood. Tea has amazing health benefits that can strengthen your immune system, and ease your mind. We're here to help you choose the right brew, for you.

Black tea

The most popular black tea blends are Early Grey, Chai, and English Breakfast tea. Black tea is bold and caffeinated, but contains less caffeine than coffee, making it a great alternative for your morning energy boost. This particular brew is packed with health benefits, as it contains antioxidants that boost heart health and can lower “bad” cholesterol. Black tea is easy to make and helps you maintain focus for the moments you need it.

Green tea

It’s a universal fact that everyone will have a ‘Green Tea Phase,’ at some point in their life. We hope this article helps you understand why. Not only is green tea an amazing aromatic experience, but it also does wonders for your body! Green tea is overflowing with antioxidants that reduce inflammation and prevent early aging. This tea tends to have lower levels of caffeine than other brews, but it contains amino acids which support brain health and induce an alert calm.

Our favorites:

Fruit tea

Fruit tea is a warm, sometimes, spicy blend of natural sweeteners. This kind of tea is naturally caffeine free which makes it the perfect night time ritual. Berry teas are full of antioxidants and other organic compounds that can boost your immune system and promote hydration. Fruit teas tend to be extremely high in vitamin C, as well.

We recommend icing these brews and creating some summer/work out refreshers:

Tea for your mind

Don’t underestimate the power of a warm cup of tea. Research shows that the process of warming the kettle, watching the steam rise, and waiting for tea to brew, calms your senses. When you let the warmth of your teacup radiate through your hands, you’re actually activating a stillness in your mind and body. Depending on which brew you make, tea is a powerful stress reliever, pick me up, and focuser.

We believe in setting aside a few minutes everyday to make a cup that works for you. Choose your blend, and enjoy a few moments to yourself. You deserve it. Start soothing your mind with these relaxing brews:
